Setting a new standard for large scale venues, the 8,000-square metre venue includes six bars, 150 metres of bar top, a microbrewery, beer garden, a function centre, container bar & restaurant.  The giant bar was made with Jesmonite AC830 ForteCrete.

London based artist and designer Zuza Mengham has created a series of angular sculptures made from mulched British lichens and Jesmonite. Jesmonite has become more and more popular with designers, who have used it to make an array of furniture, lighting, ceramic and sculpture designs.Mengham's Jesmonite sculptures each incorporate and respond to a number of common British lichen species: Punctelia subrudecta, Xanthoria parietina, Physcia adscendens, Evernia prunastri and Flavoparmelia caperata.Encased within the Jesmonite, the lichen creates a delicate effect across the surface.   "Lichens seem like something which is pretty abundant but hugely overlooked as part of our environment," said Mengham, who chose...

A theme park has just opened it's gates to the public in Dubai which recreates several famous scenes from hit movie franchise The Hunger Games – built with tonnes of Jesmonite. Jesmonite UK, via one of its customers, provided tonnes of Jesmonite for the thematic elements of the park. Film production company Lionsgate and Dubai Parks and Resorts opened The World of the Hunger Games park in October in Motiongate Dubai – the Middle East’s biggest Hollywood-inspired theme park.
